Jambalaya with Shrimp and Cajun Sausage (Stovetop)

Description:

You'll love this Cajun delight!  Shrimp, Cajun sausage, rice, onion, garlic and lots of herbs and spices blend together in this stove top meal-in-one entree.  Serve with crusty bread and "let the good times roll"!  Full serves 4-6.  Half serves 2-3.

Cooking Instructions

Thaw completely in refrigerator if necessary.

Heat oil in large deep covered skillet or pot over medium high heat.  Add contents of sausage bag; sauté 5 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.  Add contents of rice bag; cook 2 minutes.  Add contents of broth bag; bring to boil.  Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 20 minutes.  Add shrimp; cook 5 minutes.  Let stand 5 minutes.  Discard bay leaf and serve
